Ed Nelson was an American actor best known for his role as Dr. Michael Rossi in the television series "Peyton Place." He was born on December 21, 1928, in New Orleans, Louisiana, and began his acting career on the stage before moving into television and film. Nelson appeared in numerous TV shows and movies throughout his career, including "Murder, She Wrote," "Kojak," and "Airport 1975." He also had a successful career on Broadway, starring in productions such as "A Hatful of Rain" and "The Moon Is Blue." Nelson passed away on August 12, 2014, at the age of 85.
